I was raised in the foothills of the Appalachian range in upstate New York, and painting has been a lifelong journey of more than sixty years. Majestic mountains, the tranquility of a pond, life caught in motion. What I am after in every piece is the moment a viewer stops and simply says, wow.

As a self-taught artist I have refined my style and techniques by studying renowned artists including Bob Ross, Walt Alexander, Terry Redlin, Carla Grace and Terry Maden. Through their eyes and hands I learned how to capture the world around us on canvas, in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pencil.
